In the past few years, I've become something of an addict at collecting autographed photos. ~grin~ At least of celebrities that I like. And I don't do it for the monetary value. Granted, I'd actually had a few before I really got into it (thanks mostly to ebay), but now... I prefer to get autographs in person (at cons) or by mail (in response to fan mail), but I have purchased a few here and there (though I don't suggest buying from Creation -- they really like to gouge the buyers, yeesh), especially when I know it's very unlikely I'll ever see them. {See my autograph sources page for where I got my photos.}
