From the tapes I have, it appears that Lifetime showed the pilot two ways -- as a full two-hour movie and as a two-part episode. I have two versions of the pilot, both with cut scenes that the other version is missing.

Info relating to Vanishing Act episode...

"In Vanishing Act, the scenes at the airport were not shot in Honolulu. This is easy to figure out from the fact that Diamond Head is not in the background - instead, the background is San Diego. The tall building with the chiseled top is a bank building. Most likely, the producers wanted those airport scenes during some time when they weren't out in the islands, so they justed used a convenient airport, so they shot at Lindbergh Field."

"Also, the airplane that was shown landing is not the one that the protected witness got off of a few seconds later. The plane on the ramp has it horizontal stabilizer at the top of the tail, whereas the airplane that was landing had its HS at the bottom of the tail. The shooting location for the ramp scenes was at Lindbergh Field's FBO (fixed base operator), called Jimsair. An FBO is where transient private planes can park, get fuel, minor maintenance, etc., as well as loading and unloading passengers."
